• All sales from our store are FINAL, with the exception of clothing, which may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase, provided that you show the original receipt and the tags are still attached.  We test all items that are battery operated upon purchase to insure they function properly when sold.
• All new furniture sales are sold with a manufacturers 1 year warranty. We will be happy to get any damaged part replaced ourselves within first month of purchase, although manufacture will directly ship any part to your house w/ customer contact and info.

            Buying Policy and Procedures, Days and Hours:

               CURRENT BUYING HOURS: Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday 10:30-1:00

  please make sure you call first (same day as you plan on selling) to see what we are accepting & paying cash for, as these  hours and policies are subject to change. We usually do store credit only on clothes unless stock is low, this is usually during winter months. Cash is always paid on toys and equipment items such as walkers, highchairs, pack-n-plays, saucers, etc. Items such as baby carriers, shoes and other small misc. may fall under the store credit only items.

We buy new and gently used children's and maternity clothing ranging from newborn to size 12.  We also buy miscellaneous children's items, equipment,  toys and accessories  and are always interested in large equipment items such as: bassinets, walkers, jumparoos, saucers, highchairs, toddler carseats, pack-n-plays, etc. and  we always pay cash on these items

All clothing must be brought in freshly laundered and laid flat in a box, bin or basket (no bags please) and free of any rips, stains, holes, fading or excessive wear.  To maintain quality and keep up with current trends, we do not buy clothing more than a few years old.

The amount paid by The Baby Exchange is determined by three main factors:

• The item's cleanliness
• Our current stock of the item
• The current public demand for similar items

Clean items in high demand will generally be paid 50% or more in cash or 65% or more in store credit of the price for which the item will be sold if item is clean & in high demand. Clean seasonal clothing in good condition will generally be paid with 40% cash or 50% store credit.  (Although we usually just pay store credit for clothing unless stock is low) Store credit given is always more than the cash amount given.

        Store Credit Policy:

Store credit given for clothing, shoes & misc. items may be used on like items such as all clothes, shoes, books, dvds & videos, baby carriers, small toys, shopping cart covers & other small items. Store credit given for larger equipment items such as strollers, toddler car seats, walkers, highchairs, swings, saucers, bassinets, outdoor play structures, playhouses,  & pack n plays may be used towards anything in the store. All store credits expire within 1 year from the last date used.
